Ok girls, what kind of blush is better. cream or powdered? and i can't use eye makeup. gives me infections. no mascara, shadow, or liner. anyone have any ideas about that? Also, I use lip gloss and lipstick, but not a pencil. just something to get ideas on.

I don't use blush myself, but if I did, I'd use the cream because it would probably be easier to put on. However, when my sister uses makeup and puts makeup on me, she actually uses lipstick instead of blush. It's a little harder to spread, especially if you're putting it on with your finger, but it works and looks the same as wearing regular blush. *smile*

My face is naturally darker, so I don't really need any make-up apart from lippy and foundation, but if I were to use blush, it would be the cream. I'd get the powdered variety everywhere.

I use the powdered kind. Doesn't cause any trouble for me, and it's no more difficult to use than anything else. *shrugs*

I don't normally post to these girly-type topics but:
Agreed with Chelsea completely, powder all the way. I don't apply makeup hardly ever, but when I do, I find that the powder works fine. I've sensitive skin, so I've found that powder works well because it doesn't really sink in as much as the cream does.

I use cream foundation. It's easier to feel where it all is so I know where I can spread it out and blend it in. Then, I just use lip gloss or lipstick. I can't close my right eye, so no eye make-up for me either. Somehow, Mom was able to put eye shadow and eyeliner on me when I was younger, but I don't even want to try. That was the part I hated the most about being made up for talent shows and such.

Powder. I've never tried the cream, so can't compare, but on top of liquid foundation I imagine it would feel kind of heavy and cloggy. Powder's just easy. I'm not an every day makeup wearer or anything, so probably don't really know what I'm talking about.

to me, powder blush is the easier. Cream blush would be weird to me and then you'd have to worry about rubbing it in good enough. I don't know I use a liquid, consealer, and powder in one type foundation, and powder eye shadow and blush, and a lipstick with a glass mixed with it...I don't wear eye liner too often though. But yeah, I go with the powder blush.

It seems to me that powdered blush would be less noticeable if you didn't rub it in evenly, whereas the cream kind would stand out horribly if you didn't do it right. Kind of like when you put sunscreen on and you don't rub it in everywhere ... people can see the patches you missed. I'd rather not look like a painted doll. I've noticed that's the problem with a lot of people ... do they not get that makeup is supposed to enhance your face, not distort it? LOL.

Thanks everyone for their input. I tried to use the powder, but made such a mess. I think lipstick is as good as blush. Thanks again

I too use powder for blush, the cream is to difficult, making sure its all rubbed in and even is a pain in the butt, lol. I've not yet learned foundation and eye makeup, but I'm trying to learn, so maybe in the future I'll be more help. Smile
